…so its official…we have been swept by 2 of the worst teams in the national league…and we have the worst closer in the entire league…mr. benitez posted his seventh blown save today..and the giants lost 2-1 in extra innings…something needs to be done about the closer position..maybe send him down to fresno so he could learn how to pitch again…or trade him..to anyone..for anything…i say we trade him to the pirates for a 2 hot dogs…an pirate eye patch and a wooden peg leg…our giants have done a complete 180 in terms of direction of the team…and im trying to stay strong about my philosophy of "keep everyone cause the chemistry is there"..we need to instill some energy in this lineup..bring up the young guys…see what they can do…trade benitez for something..but im sure it would be hard to trade due to his recent magnificent performance…what a complete waste of a player…last year he gets injured while completing a routine run to first base to get a ground out…he comes back healthy this year and makes giants fans wish he was still injured…but in all of this…the only thing that is injured is the confidence of the giants…felipe…find something to inspire your team..phil jackson uses meditation to get his lakers right….shaq inspires his heat but giving them extravagent gifts..what can felipe do? supply his team with unlimited garlic fries? please do something…

..ok…that’s six losses in a row now…seriously…what is going on here? it seems that only a week ago, all giants fans were on this emotional high after the padre series…how soon it turns around and we are left in limbo…2 more days til the 31st..and i say it again…sell the farm..sell the farm…i love the giants to death…but this is not a world series team…and trust me i would hate to see this team broken up…the amount of locker room chemistry this year has been tremendous…with the additions of sweeney…and greene…and morris…it brought the team together..no longer was it a locker room where after a game or practice, players got dressed and left the park…without a single word to each other…now, its a team that loves to hang around with each other…i remember reading about how moises alou complained during his first year that no one has even asked him to dinner…and that he went to a teammate’s birthday dinner and only 2 other giants showed up…there was no chemistry at all..but now with all the young guys in the bullpen…and the additions of great locker room guys like finley, the team has put together an college baseball-like atmosphere similar to the other team across the bay…personally i love that…i like hearing stories about how schmidt was drenched with alcohol after his 16 k game…i like reading about how cain and hennessey are good buddies and love to talk about electronics..and mostly i love the fact that mr. bonds himself lets loose and dresses up like paula abdul for a fan event…what a feel good story it would be if the giants…amidst all this media coverage about possible indictments…could pull through and bring us a championship…i will continue to have faith…i will continue to cheer for my giants….ive been watching since i was a kid…i had many memories of will clark…and mike krukow and his 20 win season…and after all this talk of sell the farm…sell the farm…i think ive changed my mind…let’s do this…mr. felipe alou…its in your hands sir….its time to pull out the inspirational speech…its time to grab your players attention and turn this team around…one suggestion though..i know sanchez was just sent down to fresno to work a little…one suggestion…please dont keep him there too long..we need him up here….giants fans..have faith! things will turn around! hey things could be worse everyone..at least we are not the dodgers

…this is a very depressing time for giants fans…swept by the nationals? and then shutout by the pirates? cmon…this cant be happening…sabean needs to make some moves now…so i say sell sell sell!….let’s build for the future…we have great young pitching..let’s promote the young guys…ichikawa..santos…frandsen…bring em up…bring em up…sell schmidt…sell durham….sell benitez…i know it will be hard seeing them go..but seriously, can u honestly look at this team…who just lost their 5th in a row and say we are a championship team? i really wanted the giants to get a championship for bonds…but this is impossible…injury after injury..poor matheny…poor alou…poor me…one thing is for sure..i do miss garlic fries…we shall see the future of the giants in 3 days…

..July 31st is just around the corner…are the Giants considered buyers or sellers? good question…first thing we have to figure out is…are we considered a world series team or are we waiting for the future? let’s face it…there is no one in our farm system to get excited about…i guess you can vouch for Frandsen…or Santos or even Ishikawa…but overall, we are banking on veteran leadership to get to the promise land…its a good thought, but for some odd reason we can’t keep all our "veterans" on the field at the same time…one day we will have alou…but no bonds….or bonds….and no alou….and you can figure matheny out of the picture, i dont feel he will be back this season at all…but needless to say, who knew that a catcher from double-AA ball would be in our starting lineup hitting .300 ball…pleasant surprise…as of this moment we are 51-51…that is not a record of a winning team…its a record of a team still trying to find itself…our GM(sabean) has a lot of interesting pieces to trade for the future…durham…schmidt…maybe a young arm or 2…if we are making a run for the world series..u have to keep schmidt…and it would be hard to trade durham cause he has been on fire…forget the fact that he misplayed 2 groundballs last game, he has been carrying this team for the last month and a half…trading accardo was a good thing…and i have to admit i am a big shea hillenbrand fan now..especially after hearing his interview on KNBR 680…nice guy…great family..and i hope he decides to stay here for many years to come…that in itself is a problem…look at all the potential free agents on the giants roster….durham..schmidt…feliz….hillenbrand…and dont forget mr. bonds….the giants roster next year will be totally different…so what would i do? SELL SELL SELL…build for the future…cause half your team wont be here anyway next year….we need an explosion of a youth movement…we have great young pitching with cain..lowry…hennessey…sanchez…wilson..now we just need young hitters….trust me i would hate to see durham…schmidt…leave to some contending team…but we have to think about the future of the giants..if anything..dont trade anyone…but in the offseason…and i know i will take some heat for this one…especially from my girlfriend….do not resign bonds….why? thats an extra 19 mil left to spend on some young talent..or 2 really good players…and if you dont sign durham or schmidt…thats a potential 30-35 mil to spend on some great players….look, i think barry is the greatest k? but let’s face it…he would be more successful in the American League as a DH…best case scenario….we trade for a reliever…trade benitez…PLEASE….he obviously does not want to be a Giant….in the last month he has criticized…Jon Miller….the fans and Steve Finley…cmon…let him go….put hennessey in the closer role..or correia…or sanchez(my favorite choice)..if we could trade benitez…grab a reliever or 2 then we have a chance to get bonds what he really wants…a championship..then we wouldnt have to worry about re-signing him..cause he would retire a happy man….and leave the Giants management with happy money to spend on happy players to join the Giants…and that would make us…happy….
